Danny Avdia had a truly breakout season in the best league in the world. The Israeli recorded career highs in almost every statistical column.

He finished the season with 18 double-doubles, tied with Andre Drummond for 38th in the entire NBA. He is ahead of names such as Myles Turner, Jabari Smith, Pascal Siakam, Daniel Gafford, Paulo Bancro, Kevin Durant, Kristaps Porzingis, Devin Booker, Zion Williamson, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell and many others. He did all of this in 30.1 minutes per evening (compared to 26.6 last year), and at least personally, it was hard to ask for more. The worst season in Washington Wizards history ended this evening (Sunday) with a 67th loss - this time against Boston. It was the first time the Wizards have lost 67 games in a row. The Wizards lost their first game of the season against the New York Knicks.
