Ivan Toney has been banned from all football-related activities for eight months. The Brentford striker has also been fined £50,000 by the English Football Association.
The 27-year-old will not be able to play for the club or his home country until his suspension ends on January 16, 2024. Brentford have stated that they are waiting for the written reasons to be published before deciding on the next steps they will take against the player. The fiery striker has scored 21 goals in 35 appearances for Brentford this season.
