Prime Minister Gabriel Attal introduces a novelty: educational work (TIE) intended for minors under the age of 16. “These young people, sometimes very young, who seemed to have already cut ties with our society,” said the Prime Minister.

Current TIGs are criminal sanctions imposed by a judge with the aim of allowing social integration by avoiding prison. Minors aged 16 to 18 sentenced to TIG then carry out work or an internship in victims' associations, with the fire brigade or other institution.
