David Rush (43) was convicted in 2019 of manslaughter, reckless driving, driving under the influence of an intoxicating drink and driving against the direction of traffic. He caused a traffic accident in 2016, when he was driving from Haifa towards Tiberias while he had a concentration of 210 ml of alcohol in his blood.
The court sentenced him to 4.5 years in prison and disqualified him from holding a license for 20 years. Yesterday the detectives of the Central Unit of the Traffic Division (Yamr Athan) ambushed the driver and arrested him.
