A man dies crushed by a car leaving a nightclub in the Ardennes. The victim apparently left the nightclub heavily intoxicated and the suspect did not see her before hitting her.
The young man was inside the La Marlière nightclub, where he left drunk. This would be manslaughter. The driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident. He was taken to hospital in shock. An autopsy must be carried out this Monday. His police custody, carried out as part of a preliminary investigation, should be lifted.
