Nightclub drama.

A young man was fatally hit by a car on Sunday morning, while leaving a nightclub in Sapogne-et-Feuchères (Ardennes), according to information from local media, confirmed to Le Parisien by the prosecutor of the Republic of Charleville-Mézières, Magali Josse.

The young man was inside the La Marlière nightclub, where he left drunk.

This would be manslaughter.

The victim was, according to the first elements collected, lying in the middle of the road at the time of the impact, for reasons which remain unknown.

According to the public prosecutor, “the driver did not see” the young man and remained on site after the impact.

Autopsy this Monday

His police custody, carried out as part of a preliminary investigation, should be lifted.

The causes of death are being investigated, an autopsy must be carried out this Monday.

The driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.
