A truck transporting poultry overturned this Wednesday March 6 on the A13, near Saint-Mards-de-Blacarville, in Eure. The 4,500 battery chickens that were being transported escaped and ended up running loose on the highway.
A section of the highway was closed for a large part of the day. Traffic resumed this afternoon, around 4 p.m. The fleeing poultry were recovered and “replaced in a heavy goods vehicle’ The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
