The 96th Oscar ceremony has started and is taking place in Los Angeles now (Monday morning Israel time) Pro-Palestinian demonstrators dressed in kafias demonstrated near the ceremony arena and even blocked traffic on Sunset Boulevard near the hall. Los Angeles police clash with pro-Palestinian protesters, and Billie Eilish wears a cease-fire pin on the red carpet.
The big star of the ceremony is of course expected to be "Oppenheimer", Christopher Nolan's famous hit with Cillian Murphy as the Jewish scientist.
