18-month-old girl drowns in a river in the Somme. Her body was found by residents of the village of Outrebois.
The flow of the stream accelerated by the heavy rains of recent days. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Doullens gendarmerie in order to understand how the little girl could have fallen into the stream. The accident could have occurred due to theHeavy rains which affected the department and the region in recent days, since they considerably raised the level of the river in which the girl was found.
