At the home of an octogenarian, thieves tear the safe from the wall and flee with 500,000 euros of jewelry. The events occurred this Friday afternoon, in Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine), while the victim was out shopping.
An investigation was opened by the Nanterre public prosecutor's office. Technical and scientific police officers were dispatched to the site to identify possible traces and clues left by the criminals behind them. The investigation continues, but so far no witnesses have reported the presence of suspicious individuals.
