Long queues have been recorded in recent hours at the train stations where the line goes to Jerusalem, from Herzliya, through the Tel Aviv stations to the Navon station in the capital. This is after in recent weeks, as part of the improvement of the service to the capital, trains with 10-12 cars, alongside the regular trains with 6 cars.

In recent years, the line to Jerusalem has become one of the busiest on Israel Railways, with about 70,000 passengers a day. A long train can transport about 2,000 people.
