Bosch and Microsoft are exploring collaboration opportunities to exploit the potential of generative AI. The announcement was made at the opening of the Bosch Connected World 2024 (BCW) event in Berlin.

Generative AI uses large amounts of data to train autonomous driving systems. It can be used to communicate directly with the driver, for example by displaying a warning, or to initiate appropriate driving maneuvers, such as braking and turning on the emergency lights. The goal is to enable vehicles to assess situations and react accordingly, helping to improve road safety.
