BYD: preliminary contract for a new plant in Hungary - Industry and Analysis. The future plant will be built in several phases, and the factory will be operational within three years.
As a result, it will create thousands of jobs, contributing to the development of the local economy and its related activities. BYD is already present in Hungary with an eBus production plant located in Komarom since 2016. The new production site is part of the strategy that has led the Chinese manufacturer to to open 250 sales points in 19 European countries.
