A “partially charred body” was discovered early Friday evening in the town of Haute-Corse. The upper part of the body found on Arinella beach is damaged, which could complicate its identification, and the individual is believed to be male.
The public prosecutor opened an investigation for “voluntary homicide” following this macabre discovery on Friday evening. “At this stage, the causes of death are still undetermined and are awaiting on-site and medico-legal findings,” declared the prosecutor.
