Cost of a driving license: Study shows that it is most expensive in Munich. According to the study, the big price differences are not just due to the cost of living, as they are at least similar in Berlin and Munich.
Instead, factors such as local competition and the quality of the driving schools' fleet probably also play a role. In Berlin, an average of 53 euros was charged for a driving hour (45 minutes), while in Munich it was 78 euros. The “Lappen” is cheapest in the following five cities: Berlin, Hanover, Dortmund, Keel and Saarbrücken.
