Dark clouds over e-mobility: car dealers with a pessimistic forecast for 2024. According to a ZDK survey, German car dealers are not very optimistic about electric car sales in 2024.
In January 2024 the number of orders for electric cars from both private and commercial customers was on average around 50 percent lower than the previous year. More than a third of Germans currently cannot imagine switching to an electric car. Almost 40 percent said they were at least theoretically ready to switch - but most of them not immediately.
