Elected official attacked near Le Havre for a badly parked car: four months suspended prison sentence for the author of the headbutt. This man had headbutted a deputy mayor of the commune of Beaurepaire.
The attacker was sentenced in court on prior admission of guilt (CRPC) to a four-month suspended jail sentence, three years of deprivation of his civil rights and obligation to complete a citizenship course within six months. This attack came as the National Assembly adopted on Wednesday at first reading a senatorial text aimed at better protecting local elected officials.
