France stops cheap leasing of electric cars - and reduces purchase premiums. In Germany, the subsidy for electric cars is already history.
New electric car registrations in January 2024 fell significantly compared to December - and the industry association VDA's electric car sales forecast for the entire year 2024 is also anything but rosy. For people with a taxable annual income of less than around 25,000 euros, an electric car bonus of 7,000 Euro is maintained. The bonus for purchasing environmentally friendly delivery vans is also reduced by 1,000 euro.
