A car driving in the wrong direction on the A68 motorway north of the pink city hit another vehicle, moving in the right direction, near Castelmaurou. A 23-year-old man and a man in his seventies were killed.
The three other drivers were uninjured, according to the department's firefighters. The highway was closed between 8:30 p.m. and 12:15 a.m., to allow emergency services to intervene. It is currently unknown whether the septuagenarian is a man or a woman.
