Comedian Larry David attacked the TV character "Elmo" live on a morning show in the United States. David apologized, but in an interview with Seth Meyers he retracted his apology.
"Someone had to do it!", David said while allegedly hitting the doll. The next day, Larry David was a guest on the Tonight Show and repeated his words. "You know what? I'd do it again!" he said. "I was waiting to be interviewed," explained David LeMyers. "And Elmo spoke. And I had to listen to every word"
