Lawsuit against Apple: the AirTag has become a "weapon" for harassers. US court approves class action lawsuit against Apple alleging that its smart tags constitute surveillance and harassment.
The lawsuit was filed by about 36 women and men who claim that Apple was warned of the risks inherent in the product. Apple, for its part, claimed in response that "the lawsuit is a wrongful attempt to hold it legally responsible for a third party's intentional misuse of its product to track the plaintiffs or their family members without consent"
