A person was hit by a train in Loir-et-Cher this Tuesday morning. The incident occurred on the Orléans-Tours axis before 7:30 a.m.
According to local media, the victim died when he threw himself under the tracks. Traffic was able to resume between Tours and Blois around 10:30am. In January 2024, a 14-year-old girl had already been fatally struck by aTrain linking Paris to Toulouse. They wanted to cross the tracks via a designated passage which does not have any barrier.
