Véronique and Laurent Blond, a French couple from Tarn-et-Garonne, aged 56 and 58, have been missing since Saturday March 16. They had gone hiking on trails in Sao Vicente.
Not seeing them return to the hotel where they were staying, their daughter, who had gone on vacation with them, alerted the local authorities. Searches were launched on land and at sea on Sunday. The local police are not ruling out any leads, according to La Dépêche du Midi.
