A 69-year-old man, member of the Camorra, Neapolitan mafia, was arrested this Saturday by the Portuguese authorities. He was targeted by a European arrest warrant after being sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking, Portuguese police said, without specifying his name.

“After committing these acts, he left Italy, and was wanted by the Italian authorities for more than two decades,” added the police in a brief press release. Last October, more than 25 people were arrested in Italy in a crackdown on theCamorra.
