A 22-year-old man was indicted for the murder of his girlfriend in Martinique. The accused confessed to being the author of the shot which killed his partner.
He mentions an accident, a version which does not convince the judge of the case. Local feminist associations reacted on Wednesday: “She was murdered because she is a woman,” protested Culture Equality. The alleged perpetrator went himself to the Fort-de-France police station late Wednesday afternoon, on the advice of his mother.
