A banner with the initials “SS” painted in red was displayed on the Bellanda Tower in Nice. The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, promised to find those responsible and prosecute them.
Last January, another banner reading “Boycott Israel” was displayed in the city. The perpetrators will be “pursued for anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism,” said the mayor. “In a few minutes we managed to remove this banner and with our video surveillance cameras we were able to record the images of those who put them up”
