The Arc plan announced in Tokyo by Nissan includes a broad product offensive supported by new development and production approaches. This is with the aim of making electric vehicles more accessible and increasing the profitability of this sector.
Nissan will offer nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM) batteries, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and all solid state batteries. More factories will adopt the Nissan Intelligent Factory concept: Oppama and Nissan Motor Kyushu in Japan, Sunderland in the UK, Guangzhou and Izmir in the US.
