Paris: after the suicide of a 12-year-old child, the father placed in police custody. A judicial investigation “for habitual violence against a minor leading to death without intention of causing it” was launched.
The father "was placed under the status of witness assisted by the investigating magistrate", which means that the investigating judge did not consider that there were sufficient serious and consistent clues for the hour, to put the fifty- year-old under investigation. The Paris juvenile prosecutor's office opened a judicial investigation on April 3.
