Sporty Seat offshoot on expansion path: Cupra wants to conquer the US market. Cupra will launch with the battery-electric version of the Formentor and a larger electric crossover SUV.
The larger crossover will therefore be built in the Volkswagen plants in North America. A compact electric car, the Raval, is expected to follow in 2025. Technically, the Stromer is identical to the Volkswagen ID.2all. The dimensions should roughly correspond to those of the Seat Ibiza. It is still unclear whether the Rval will also find its way to the USA.
