There used to be more small family cars in Israel. Today under NIS 140,000 there is really no supply in the family/Walla! system.

Hyundai Accent, formerly one of the pillars of the category, its marketing in Israel was stopped about a year ago/manufacturer's website. Skoda Octavia is walking around with a price tag of NIS 156,000, Mazda 3 and Ford Focus at NIS 152,000. Renault Grand Coupe already at 160, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla hybrids are already at the 165,000 mark.
