Suspicion of infanticide in Moselle: a young woman indicted. In police custody since Monday at the Forbach gendarmerie research brigade, the 21-year-old woman is suspected of having deliberately killed her newborn.
She was initially hospitalized for a few days in Forbach, before being taken into police custody at the start of the week. An autopsy was carried out and the child was "a priori viable, hence the custody for murder", the magistrate said on Monday.
