The Government intends to present a new cybersecurity law to reduce cyberattacks and improve the response to them. The Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Service, José Luis Escrivá, has presented the general proposals of his department this Monday afternoon in Congress.

He has also highlighted the effort that Spain is making to attract companies with knowledge of chip design and manufacturing, one of the great geostrategic, rather than digital, challenges of the coming years. The Ministry also intends to create regulations for the sustainable creation of data centers in Spain.
