The Jewish-American singer Eric Carmen died at the age of 74. Carmen broke out in the early 1970s as a member of the band "Raspberries" Later, Carmen created a number of hits as a solo artist.
The best known of them is "All By Myself", based on Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Carmen Huthir was married three times, and left two children: Catherine and Clayton. He is the son of Jewish immigrants who came to the United States from Russia.
