The scourge of wild rodeos is growing in the countryside. Well known in sensitive areas of Île-de-France and Oise, the phenomenon is also increasingly affecting rural and natural areas.

It's a classic Sunday afternoon in Mortefontaine, a town of less than 900 inhabitants nestled in a forest area in the south-east of the Oise. After a ride on the country lanes, the cyclist plunges into the woods, "up to a somewhat bare area, which alternates between forest and fields"
