At the end of January, the dramatic fatal accident which cost the life of an 8-year-old boy on the slopes of Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) left this Aravis resort in mourning. The little skier died after falling on a black slope, which was closed because it was icy and therefore too dangerous.
