12 ex-members of Génération Identitaire suspected of having reconstituted the small group arrested. The small group was dissolved in March 2021 for inciting hatred, by decree of the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.
Around thirty activists were deployed between Luchon (Haute -Garonne) and the Spanish border. With cars screen-printed ‘Defend Europe’, they had set up at the Col du Portillon. Some had gone hiking using a drone to monitor the border.
