Volkswagen has created a limited series of 110 examples reserved for the Italian market. The number 110 is a direct reference to the 110 HP of the first series Golf GTI.
The list price is 52,950 euros, and deliveries are expected during the spring. Under the hood there is a 1,984 cm3 four-cylinder turbo engine with 245 HP and 370 Nm of maximum torque. It can reach a speed of 250 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.4 seconds.
