Volvo introduces the new Accident Ahead Alert system - New Tech. For the first time, cars are able to warn drivers directly of accidents on the route, using real-time data from a traffic control centre.
System, which will be available on compatible Volvo cars in Europe, starting with Denmark, aims to help drivers avoid collisions and traffic congestion caused by an accident en route. Volvo Cars' connected safety technology, first introduced in 2016, uses the automaker's cloud and is based on data provided in real time.
