In the Westphalian Gronau, unknown people have apparently shot several times at a man. According to police, the 43-year-old was seriously injured in the attack.
According to the investigators, it came on Wednesday morning to the incident. In the Losserstraße in Gronau, several shots were fired from a small car. The victim was hit at least once, police said. The white small car with Dutch registration had gone away. The victim had been operated on in a clinic.
The background of the attack are unclear according to the investigators. "But we have indications that the Gronauer was deliberately fired," said Attorney Martin Botzenhardt in the press release.
A cross-border search for the car and the inmates was unsuccessful. A murder commission took over the investigation.
