Fifteen places of interest in the Valle d'Aosta since August 1st have become part of the Museum subscription, the 'all you can visit' card that gives free access to the cultural offer of an entire region, 365 days a year. A unique initiative, with over 200 realities, including museums, royal residences, castles, gardens and fortresses spread throughout the territory for the benefit of subscribers.

Among others have been added: the Introd castle, with its particular almost rounded polygonal shape that still distinguishes it from the other Valle d'Aosta castles, the Paradisia alpine botanical garden, with its thousand plants and flowers of the Alps and Apennines, as well as some examples of mountain flora from all over the world, the Cogne Alpinart exhibition structure, created through a skilful renovation of the Minatori Village, the Mav - Museum of traditional Aosta Valley craftsmanship, which tells the thousand-year history of the craftsmen who created the over a thousand exhibits, including artifacts and sculptures. For over 160 thousand subscribers, the choice is therefore increasingly varied.

"Having entered the Museum Subscription circuit has undoubtedly offered Valle d'Aosta an additional important tool for promoting and showing its cultural heritage", explains Cristina De La Pierre, Superintendent for the cultural heritage and activities of the Autonomous Region of Valle d ' Aosta. “Being able to add - he continues - another 15 sites is a reason for great satisfaction and a strong incentive to improve and enhance our tourist-cultural offer.

With these new 15 sites the total number of options for the subscriber rises to 435. The decision to include the places to visit in the Aosta Valley is “the result of the desire to support and encourage local tourism, especially proximity tourism, this summer more than ever”, underlines Simona Ricci, director of the museum subscription association.
