Rigged races in the Piedmontese ASL, 15 precautionary measures

(ANSA) - TURIN, 30 NOV - Rigged competitions, fraud in public supplies and corruption within the Aslpiemontesi.

This was discovered by the financial police, who carried out 15 pre-trial detention orders, dismantling a real criminal association.

The investigations coordinated by the deputy prosecutor, Enrica Gabetta, and directed by the prosecutor Giovanni Caspani concerned in particular three tenders, for a total value of 3.5 million euros, banned by AslTo4, AOU Maggiore della Carità of Novara, Asl of Asti and of Alexandria, as well as by the Alessandria Hospital.

    The 'Molosso' operation, as it has been renamed, has led to the emergence of a "tested and articulated system of interactions between private individuals and tender commissioners aimed at making up binds by modifying the related specifications, assigning favorable scores and the disclosure of confidential information ".

A picture, also reconstructed thanks to the telephone interception and shadowing activities, which led to the execution of precautionary measures against public employees, tender commissioners and agents representing some companies accused, for various reasons, of corruption, auction disturbance and fraud in public supplies.
