The distribution of vaccines from Pfizer and BioNtech laboratories against Covid has started in the United Kingdom and the United States.
But the transport and storage of this vaccine, which is said to be more than 90% effective against the coronavirus, represents a great logistical challenge.
The vaccine doses will have to travel while maintaining a temperature of -70 ° C.
To transport and store the vaccines, the American laboratory Pfizer ordered shipping boxes filled with dry ice, also called dry ice.
These packaging will allow the vaccines to be stored until they arrive in a hospital, pharmacy or vaccination center.
This type of cabinet can keep the doses at the right temperature for two weeks.

To keep the vaccine doses for up to 6 months, it will be necessary to equip yourself with “super-refrigerators”.
In mid-November, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced the order for 50 of these “super-refrigerators”.
In France, the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine should be distributed during the month of January.
