(ANSA) - MILAN, 22 JAN - The Liceo Virgilio in Milan, the largest in the city with about 2,000 students divided into 5 branches, from classical allinguistic to human sciences, was occupied this morning.

This is the tenth school occupied in Milan in the last ten days.

The students entered the secondary office in via Pisacane to ask for "clarity and organization from the government which is now more than ever leaving all young people without an education".

About 15 boys have already occupied a space in the school after having swabs but, they explain, at 2 pm there will be a solidarity garrison outside and at 4 pm the Brigade of solidarity doctors is expected to take the tests and bring in more students with the aim of then hold an assembly in the gymnasium "which will thus be a safe place. This is also the request we make to politicians - explains Matteo, representative of the Collettivo del Virgilio - that is, to have us return to class by swabs and reopening safely".

"Ours - he continues - is not an attack on the Virgil's leadership, or on the principal, but on the government, the Region and also the Municipality, which could do more to get back into the classroom".

This morning, on the other hand, ended in the occupation at the Einstein High School, after the students spent the night in the institute.
