Surviving Death - Official Trailer (Netflix)

Stephanie Arnold of Chicago, USA, said she had an early feeling that she was going to die during the birth of her second child when she was in her 20th week of pregnancy in 2013. In a conversation with the Netflix documentary "Surviving Death", she shared the death threshold experience She said that the feeling that something bad was about to happen came when she and her husband Jonathan learned that she was suffering from a condition called "placenta previa", a phenomenon that causes a cervical obstruction and prevents a natural birth.

Stephanie explained that it was so hard to try to talk about feelings. And for the feeling that something bad is going to happen when I have nothing tangible to show.

I said to Jonathan 'I do not know what to tell you, except that I have this strong feeling that something bad is about to happen'.

I mean, if you were to meet me at Starbucks and ask 'how is your pregnancy going?', I would just say 'I'm going to die' ".

Creepily her prediction came true.

Moments after giving birth to her son Jacob at McGow Medical Center in Chicago, her heart stopped beating and she died a clinical death for 37 seconds.

She recalled the moment: "They lead me to a room that will give Jacob life and take mine. They put a curtain right in front of my face and prepare me for a caesarean section. Jacob was born, he is healthy, happy. Seconds later I died. It all became a trilogy. "I was able to see everything outside my body. My point of view was above my body and next to my body, and I could see everything that was happening in the operating room."

She says she could look at her body from above (Photo: Official website, NETFLIX)

Stephanie can also describe everything that happened in the room.

"I saw the anesthesiologist at my feet," she added.

"I saw some nurse jump on my chest to do CPR for me. In this other dimension, the spatial relationship is broken. There is no ceiling, no walls. Everything just rotates in so many different directions."

While Stephanie's physical body was still lying on the bed, she claimed she could see her daughter in a completely different part of the hospital with her caregiver.

She added: "Then I start to see ghosts everywhere - my grandmother, who died when I was 10. My mother's brother also showed up. The last thing I heard was Dr. Levitt saying 'it can not happen, it can not happen'." She felt a "pull on her stomach" before being allegedly sent back to her body. Her past death experience left her in a coma for six days with kidney failure. Stephanie said she had to go through a long recovery and learn how to walk and talk again.

Netflix's six-episode documentary examines death stories First-hand, as well as analyzing the phenomenon by experts and delving into the stories of people who claim to have experienced reincarnation.
