(ANSA) - YANGONG, MARCH 03 - Six other protesters were killed in Burma during various anti-coup protests: medical sources have said this.
Four people were killed in a protest in the Sagaing region, while the other two died in Mandalay, in the province of the same name, during another protest.
"My team took care of the corpses and contacted the families" in the Sagaing region, said a member of the rescue team, Myo Min Tun.
The deaths in Sagaing have been confirmed by other doctors, although it is unclear whether the security forces used real or rubber bullets.
A doctor who wished to remain anonymous said that the two protesters killed in Mandalay are Myo Naing Lin, who "was shot in the chest" and Ma Kyay Sin, who "was shot in the head".
