(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 28 - Herd immunity from coronavirus should be obtained by mid-July.

This is the prediction of Thierry Breton, EU commissioner for the internal market and head of the vaccine task force.

Speaking with French radio RTL, Breton also said that next summer should "be similar to last year" thanks to the vaccination campaigns underway in the European Union.
