Greece is the hottest destination of the summer for tourists from Israel, so at least think the airlines and travel agencies, which keep pumping the island nation.
This time, Israir, which continues to open new destinations for the summer, and in honor of the vaccination campaign currently taking place in Greece, announced today (Thursday) that it is attacking the Greek islands and will operate flights to Athens and eight Greek islands.
As you may recall, we announced this week that an airline will operate (via Arkia) flights to the Pelion Peninsula in Greece starting in June, Rainier is opening a route from Tel Aviv to Santorini this summer and Visair is also opening a route from Tel Aviv to Zakynthos and Corfu.
Israir, which will operate flights to Dubrovnik in Croatia, is now adding Greece to its spring-summer list, and will operate three weekly flights to Corfu starting in mid-May. And the price of a flight ticket starts at $ 250, for Santorini a weekly flight on Wednesdays and the flight price will be from $ 200 per person, to the Lefkada and Kos two weekly flights with a price starting at $ 280.
These destinations are added to Athens, Rhodes and Thessaloniki to which flights have just opened.

Another destination that will open to Israelis at the end of the month is the exotic island of Zanzibar, which is considered a destination free of corona.
Since the onset of the plague, only 509 corona cases have been detected in Tanzania.
From April 28, Israir will fly to an island in the Indian Ocean, which in recent years has become one of the most sought-after destinations by Israeli tourists thanks to the pleasant weather throughout the year and activities for nature lovers, water sports lovers and asters along with a tummy tuck vacation.
The company will operate two weekly flights and the price of a plane ticket will start at $ 444.
