(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 26 - The reopening of the activities in force from today and the new provisions for travel between regions in Italy should "support economic growth in the short term" before the effects of the Recovery plan even if they are not without risks. Moody's writes this in a report dedicated to our country where it notes that the cases of Covidsian infection are still high and if these "reopening will trigger a resumption of cases" this would have consequences on the tourism season. However, "the public health situation" is now more solid thanks to the increase in vaccinations. The recovery plan funds and the reforms, if fully implemented (in addition to the resources allocated in deficit) "should support the growth of the Italian economy over the next decade"thanks to a total expenditure of around 300 billion euros by 2026, 20% of pre-pandemic GDP. According to Moody's, the 40 billion budget deviation approved by Parliament and the 6 billion year in 2022 and 2023 for public funding, must be added to those coming from the EU (including Sure) with spending concentrated "in the first two years of the program" .

Crucial will be the reforms in the key sectors of "justice, taxation and public administration" which will, underlining the rating agency, be facilitated thanks to investments with EU funds. (HANDLE).
