All the hottest countries in the world have night markets, so why don't we get one?

I remember sitting with a glass of wine in front of the magical view of the Goddess Valley unfolding in front of me, and suddenly I realized it had to happen.

The "Goddess Valley Night Market" was driving somewhere in my first isolation after I returned from Sinai.

I thought that such a market could help all those friends of mine, who are artists, peasants and musicians whose livelihoods have been severely damaged.

And at the same time the market will be a pleasant, simple and relaxed meeting place, where we can finally meet with friends over a glass of wine or beer, shop for treats to sit in the open air and spend an evening of fun with live music and dancing into the night - a very simple and basic experience. What we missed.

At the last minute it was decided to abolish the market

Unfortunately, many months have passed since that vision, and the naivety of us all - that here's Otto it's going to end - has been replaced by skepticism mixed with despair.

Exactly a year ago we were supposed to open the night market.

Everything was already closed, the accommodation, the artists, the list of participants, and then again restrictions and capsules and cuts began that we could not meet and we had to cancel the market at the last minute.

So here, with the help of good friends and full of love and hope that can be happy here - we are launching the night market on Thursday, July 1 (and also celebrating the end of the old and glorious Mata Yehuda food festival).

Every Thursday at 7pm it starts

The night market will take place every Thursday in July and August starting at 19:00 in the magical courtyard of the Ella Valley Winery in Kibbutz Netiv HaLa (which hosts us generously). We could not dream of a more beautiful place than this winery which sits in a great location in the heart of the valley Spring and a half hours from Jerusalem.) The

night market hosts artists from the area who will present their works (ceramics, jewelry, knitted products from T-shirt threads, goldsmiths, cloth dolls, glass works, dried flowers from the Judean Mountains, mandalas, dream catchers and more), farmers and bakers who bring the best local produce (Breads, honey, sheep cheeses, self-produced tahini, olive oil, dips, organic fruits and vegetables, tower flowers and more), soaps and natural cosmetics, a flea market complex and second-hand clothes, and of course cool food stalls. Of the neighboring Srigim Brewery.

We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful place.

Tu B'Av will be celebrated in white

On the terrace of the winery are hosted various musical ensembles and DJs who will come to make merry (payment according to the generosity of the heart).

Lantern trips to the Khirbet Miders area and midnight trips to the moonlight (in private vehicles, with advance registration) departed from the fair complex.

On Thursday, July 22, we will celebrate Tu B'Av with a white market full of flowers and love, and host a sacred poetry circle with Ophir Even Odem and friends. The night market operates without a budget and out of a belief in fairness, so entry to the market is free. heart.

We invite creative artists and farmers participate in our market for a nominal fee and by appointment. Come celebrate with us the return to life of these Valley - a place where darkness and the stars get together and the heart was opened.
