After more than fifteen months of crisis and an unprecedented plunge in economic activity, companies in France are now turned towards recovery.
With the gradual relaxation of health constraints and a timetable for exiting the crisis drawn up by the executive, the horizon on the employment front is now much less vague than before.
Unedic, the unemployment insurance scheme, foresees some 126,000 job creations this year;
the government, no less than 300,000 over two years.
For its part, in its annual survey “Business workforce needs”, Pôle emploi expects 2.72 million hiring projects this year, an increase of 1.1% compared to the year 2019.
